Key Game Features
Be a Pro - Dirt 3 puts players in the racing boots of a professional motorsports athlete. The beaten up RV of Dirt 2 is a thing of the past as gamers compete against stars including Ken Block and Kris Meeke across a range of racing and driving disciplines at spectacular locations across the world.
More, More, More - Dirt 3 boasts more cars, more locations, more routes and more events than any other game in the Dirt series. There are now 100+ routes in the game compared to Dirt 2's 41. Dirt 3 offers the finest selection of licensed action-sports racing cars available and the largest line up to feature in any Codemasters racing game, including cars that represent 5 decades of rallying from classics like the Mini Cooper and Audi Quattro to Ken Block's rally spec Ford Fiesta.
Rally is Back - After consulting fan-feedback, reviews and performing exhaustive data mining, the standout event from Dirt 2, Rally, returns with more than double the amount of content. Multistage rallies are set at classic locations from the traditional rally heartland of Scandinavia to the jungles of Kenya and the forests of Europe and the USA, taking players to the most dramatic, inhospitable and exciting terrain on the planet where only the most fearless drivers race.
Express Yourself with Gymkhana - The 15 million-plus YouTube phenomenon pioneered by Ken Block now powerslides into to Dirt 3. Gamers can test their car control to the very limit and drift, spin-dry and jump their way to stardom in all new Gymkhana events. Set in specially created arenas packed with props, players can practice their skills, chain together moves, complete challenges or hang out online with friends in this spectacular video game first.
Let It Snow - For the first time in the Dirt series, players will enjoy the unique and exhilarating spectacle of racing on snow. A highly advanced particle and physics model powers snow that builds up on the track, wheel tread and the car as it falls more heavily throughout the race. As players drive they will feel the change in the handling as the snow compacts at different rates depending on your speed, angle and cornering. This best-in-class feature delivers truly jaw-dropping visual and performance effects.

Go kart!!!

Go kart!!!

Week 03 Summer Memory Theme Go kart.

The was taken on the 605-91 junction while driving from 605N to 91W. Everytime I drive by here, I felt like going go karting on it. I don't know why there's a perfectly good circuit sitting down there. It even includes a pit area on the left!

In Taiwan, areas outside of the river levee are actually developed into parks and recreational areas. During summer, when there are no rains, there would always be a vendor with mini motorcycles and go karts for rent to drive on a small track. I've always wanted to try it, but dad thought I'm too young for it. I was finally able to convince him (or maybe just by complaining all the time :p) to let to me ride around the track in the mini motorcycle. Needless to say, I was soooo happy!

036/365 - had to paint a new front door today, Memorial Day. While looking for a screwdriver in a drawer - not to paint with, had to remove a lightswitch plate, I found this guy. He belonged to my son a number of years ago. I thought it would make a great addition to my 365 project.

I really like how this shot came out. No speeding now, the police are out in force on this holiday.

Another aside - just finished 10% of the task.

Quantum by American SportWorks - 150cc 9.9hp Full Suspension Go Kart

Offering all the sophistication of a high-performance ATV in a compact package, the Quantum full-suspension go-kart is a great ride for people ages 12 and older. The Quantum is outfitted with such features as a dual-wheel, automatic torque-converter drive that's perfect for hills, grass, mud, sand, and other tough terrain, along with a 150cc, 9.9-horsepower, air-cooled engine with an electric starter. As a result, the Quantum not only holds up to heavy use and runs quietly, but it also zips around at up to 39 miles per hour--fast enough for all but the most reckless dune and trail riders (if that's too fast for your taste, a 20-mile-per-hour speed reduction kit is available). The Quantum is also built for safety, with four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes that stop quickly and three-point lap/shoulder belts to protect the passengers. And thanks to the rack-and-pinion steering and independent front and semi-independent rear suspension, the Quantum is extremely responsive and smooth.
Other features include adjustable bucket seats designed for style and comfort, aggressive 19-inch front and 21-inch rear tires for maximum traction, four adjustable coil-over hydraulic shocks for performance and versatility, a reverse gearbox for convenience, and such standard equipment as a rear rack, flag, enclosed drive train, side splash guards, fenders, lights, and a speedometer. The Quantum, which measures 34 to 39 inches from the seat back to the pedals, carries a one-year warranty on the engine.
